Review

Although it is more known for being home of the Islamic culture, the Arabic world has an significantt Christian community. In fact, most Muslims consider Jesus Christ as one of the Prophets, and they venerate Him, as well as the Holy Bible, considering it a Sacred Book. For this reason, the Bible has been translated to Arabic, thus offering the Word of God to both Muslims and Arabic Christians.

BibleMaximum has issued an Arabic translation of the Scriptures in the form of an extra module for their BibleMax software. As you may know, BibleMax is a program for reading, studying and comparing different versions of the Bible, as well as other Bible-related texts, such as devotionals, commentaries by reputable authors, and references that allow readers to better understand the Word of God. One of the best characteristics of BibleMax is that you can add as many modules as you want or need, making it very customizable. You can get the BibleMax core program, along with many Bible versions including the Arabic one, as well as commentaries, devotionals and other texts by ordering the free CD and paying only the duplication, printing, postage and handling costs.
Advantages
  • Useful for study and comparison purposes.
Disadvantages
  • It only works with BibleMax software.
  • Can be obtained only by ordering the free CD.
  • The Psalms book seems to be incomplete.
